At least two people were killed and 30 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway at Mirzapur upazila in Tangail on Wednesday at 7am. Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. One dead body was kept at Gorai Police station and another at Kumudini Hospital morgue.Mirzapur Fire Service Station leader Hazrat Ali said, ‘A bus from North Bengal hit an opposite head truck at Dulla Monsur area in the morning. At the same time, a covered van also hit the perished bus-truck, leaving two people dead and 15 injured on the spot.’
