The English-born coach Richard Pybus will arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday for an interview for the head coach of Bangladesh cricket team.
He will be interviewed on Wednesday, said BCB cricket operations committee chairman Akram Khan.
BCB are looking for a new coach for the Tigers after Chandika Hathurusingha’s resignation.
During the last week of November, Sri Lanka cricket (SLC) made it publicly that they were negotiating with Hathurusingha for the post of the Head Coach. Later BCB has written a letter to SLC, saying they have no objection with his negotiation.
Pybus is the first one to have arrived for an interview for the Tigers’ coaching job but report suggests that other coaches will be looked into.
He was previously appointed as the Tigers’ head coach in 2012 when he replaced Australian Stuart Law.
