Police have arrested ex-director general of the National Security Intelligence (NSI) Md. Wahidul Haque for committing crimes against humanity including mass-killings during the Liberation War in 1971.
A prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Barrister Tureen Afroz confirmed it to Jago News.
Police arrested Wahidul Haque following a petition moved by Tureen Afroz.
In the petition, she brought an allegation that Wahidul killed 5 to 6 people at Rangpur Cantonment on March 28 in 1971.
