A youth was killed when a pick-up van hit him at Arambagh-Fakirapul area in the capital in the wee hours of Friday.
The deceased Shaon, 18, son of Mithu Miah, hailing from Bairsal.
Shaon was critically injured when a pick-up van hit him while crossing a road around 2am. Later local people rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctors declared him dead at 3.30am, said Bacchu Mia, sub-inspector of DMCH police camp.
