Freedom fighter and writer Major Kamrul Hasan Bhuiyan (Retd) died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) here today.
He was 66, the family sources said, BSS reported.
Kamrul Hasan Bhuiyan was the chairman of the Centre for Bangladesh Liberation War Studies. He won Bangla Academy Literary Award-2018.
