The government has appointed 267 officers from the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination as Assistant Commissioners in the BCS (Administration) Cadre.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Friday (January 10) announcing the appointments. The notification, dated December 30, stated that the appointments were based on the results of the 43rd BCS examination and recommendations from the Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
The newly appointed Assistant Commissioners have been placed under the supervision of the Divisional Commissioners, who will assign them to appropriate posts as apprentice Assistant Commissioners.
The notification also instructed the appointees to report to their respective Divisional Commissioners by January 15. Upon joining, these officers will be granted the powers of Executive Magistrates.
