The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has increased the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 19 to Tk 1,478 per 12 kg cylinder.
BERC announced the new prices on Sunday, February 2, which will come into force from this evening.
Apart from this, price of 12.5 kg cylinder was hiked at Tk 1,540, 15 kg at Tk 1,847, 16 kg at Tk 1,971, 18 kg Tk 2,217, 20 kg at Tk 2,463, 22 kg at Tk 2,710, 25 kg Tk 3,079, 30 kg at Tk 3,695, 33 kg at 4,064, 35 kg at Tk 4,311 and 45 kg at Tk 5,542 respectively.
Earlier, the commission fixed the LPG price at Tk 1,455 per 12 kg cylinder for January.
