This year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on June 26.
The written exams will continue until August 10, while practical exams will be held from August 11 to August 21.
The exam schedule, signed by Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, President of the Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee and Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Education Board, was released on Wednesday (February 19).
Candidates must be seated in the examination room at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. The exam will begin with multiple-choice questions (MCQs), followed by the written (theoretical) section.
For the 30-mark multiple-choice (MCQ) exam, the duration will be 30 minutes, while the 70-mark written exam will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
For practical subjects, the 25-mark multiple-choice exam will be held for 25 minutes, and the 50-mark written exam will have a duration of 2 hours and 35 minutes.
