The government is planning to give police personnel of the ranks of sub-inspector (SI) and assistant sub-inspector (ASI) interest-free loan to purchase motorcycle.
Apart from this, finance will be cleared for construction projects of police where works completed under 70 per cent and for land acquisition for 65 police stations located at rented establishments.
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus directed authorities concerned to take measures in this regard in a meeting with home adviser and those concerned on Wednesday, March 19, said Chief Adviser's assistant press secretary Suchismita Tithi.
She said the Chief Adviser held a meeting with field-level police officers on Monday, March 17, where they presented various issues and today a meeting took place on what to do to resolve the problems.
In the meeting, the Chief Adviser asked to take swift steps in several matters for the welfare of police officers working in field levels.
