Yunus reaches Bangkok for BIMSTEC Conference

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has reached Bangkok to attend the BIMSTEC conference.

He landed at Bangkok Airport around 12 noon (local time) on Thursday, April 3, where he was received by Thai Minister Jiraporn Sindhuprai. 

The information was confirmed by Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.

Earlier in the day, Professor Yunus departed from Shahjalal International Airport at 8:55am on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight.

On the first day of the BIMSTEC conference, Professor Yunus will attend the Youth Conference. He is scheduled to deliver a speech tomorrow and will also hold meetings with various heads of state on the sidelines.
