Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said he did not say anything about interim government’s remaining in power for five years, rather it was the people who said so.
Replying to a question from the journalists, he said this in after a meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday, April 15.
Jahangir said, “I did not say, rather people said this. The Chief Adviser announced that the national elections will be held between December 2024 and June 2025. After this, there is no question to say anything in this regard.”
