The bullet-hit body of a senior assistant police superintendent (ASP) has been recovered from a Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) office in Chattogram.
The body of the victim, Palash Saha, was retrieved from Chandgaon RAB-3 camp on Wednesday afternoon, May 7, said RAB’s legal and media wing director MZM Intekhab Chowdhury.
It is yet unclear how he died, the RAB official said.
A note was found beside his body which reads, “I am only responsible for my death, not my mother or wife.”
ASP Palash served Police’s Special Brnach (SB) and has recently been transferred to the RAB.
