Bangladeshi all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz advanced to World Number 2 in the ICC Men's Test All Rounder Ranking.
As per latest ICC Men's Test All Rounder Ranking published on Wednesday, Miraz have secured 327 rating points to advance to his career best 2nd slot in the ICC All-Rounder ranking while Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja clinched the top slot securing 400 rating points.
He toppled the Marco Jansen of South Africa (294), Pat Cummins of Australia (271) and former world number one Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan (253)
Miraz got the good news from ICC after displaying a brilliant performance in bat and ball against Zimbabwe in the recently concluded two-match home test series where he was also adjudged the player of the series .
Miraz took ten wickets, five wickets in each in innings in the first test in Sylheti.
He guided Bangladesh to earn a massive innings and 106 runs victory in the 2nd test against Zimbabwe in the Chattogram test scoring a century with a superb 106 runs in addition to five wickets haul.
