A fire broke out at a motor parts shop in Banglabazar, located in the capital’s Old Dhaka, on Tuesday evening.
According to Fire Service Duty Officer Rafi Al Faruk, the fire originated at a parts shop in the area. The Fire Service received the report around 6:10 PM and immediately dispatched two units to the scene to bring the blaze under control.
As of the latest update, efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have yet to be determined, the official said.
