Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus will deliver a speech to a distinguished audience at Soka University in Tokyo on Friday afternoon.
In recognition of his contributions to social innovation and global development, the university will confer an honorary doctorate degree on Professor Yunus.
Wrapping up his Japan visit, Professor Yunus will depart Tokyo for Singapore en route to Dhaka tomorrow morning on a Singapore Airlines flight.
He is expected to arrive home late tomorrow night.
Yunus arrived in Tokyo on May 27 for a four-day visit to Japan.
