Former national cricket team captain Aminul Islam Bulbul has been elected the new president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for the next four years.
He was elected president by the BCB directors on Friday afternoon, May 30. Besides, Nazmul Abedin Fahim and Fahim Sinha have become senior vice president and vice president respectively.
Earlier today, the National Sports Council (NSC) approved him as BCB director.
Bulbul replaces Faruque Ahmed whose nomination as BCB president was scrapped by the NSC on Thursday, May 29, hours after eight directors launched a no-confidence motion against him.
