Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed has started presenting the national budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The pre-recorded budget speech of Dr Salehuddin is being aired on Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar around 3:00pm on Monday, June 2.
Earlier this afternoon, the Advisory Council of the interim government approved the revised national budget for the FY 2024-25, the proposed national budget for FY 2025–26, and the Finance Bill 2025–26 at a special meeting.
Sources concerned said size of the national budget for FY 2025-26 may be Tk 7.90 lakh core.
