A total of 394 new dengue cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours (from Monday 8:00am to Tuesday 8:00am), taking the total number of cases to 8,544 from January 1 to till date.
Barishal division recorded highest 157 cases, Chattogram division 58, Dhaka division 35, Dhaka South City Corporation 50, Dhaka North City Corporation 42, Khulna division 8 and Rajshahi division 44.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) shared this information in a statement today.
The mosquito-borne disease, dengue, claimed lives of 34 people from January 1 till today.
