The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced Azhar Mahmood as the acting red-ball head coach of the Pakistan Men’s team. He will serve in this role until the end of his current contract.
Azhar, a seasoned cricketing figure, brings a wealth of experience to the role. Having previously served as the assistant head coach of the national side, he has been a key part of the team’s strategic setup. His deep understanding of the game, combined with international experience and a successful stint in English county cricket, makes him well-suited for the position.
