The Study in Malaysia Education Fair 2025 in Bangladesh will be held across three major cities of Dhaka, Khulna, and Chittagong in Bangladesh.
Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) will organize the fairs aiming to strengthen academic ties, foster collaboration, and raise awareness about Malaysia as a preferred study destination.
EMGS organized a networking lunch and Meet the Press event on Tuesday at Gulshan Club, Banani in the capital to announce the detail of the series of events.
The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh attended the press conference while EMGS officials and local organizer of the fair ‘Knowledge Hub Bangladesh’ also attended among others.
They said the fair will offer students’ and parents’ direct access to top Malaysian public and private universities, opening doors to affordable, globally recognized education pathways. The participating Malaysian institutions are highly ranked in global university listings, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, medicine, business, IT and many more.
The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh will formally inaugurate the fair in Dhaka on July 18 at the Hotel Sarina, Banani in the capital.
The participating universities and exhibitors include Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Unversiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), UCSI University, Tuanku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT). Multimedia University (MMU). Management and Science University (MSU), SEGi University and Colleges, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, MILA University, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), BAC Education and KPJ Healthcare.
Malaysian university delegates, Bangladeshi international school and college counsellors, as well as key media representatives attended the meet the press.
Another event on 17th July at the UGC Bhaban will be followed by the Press Conference. Along with His excellency, the High Commission of Malaysia, the event will also be attended by senior officials from the University Grants Commission (UGC) Bangladesh, along with leading university officials, college principals, and representatives from Malaysian top higher educational institutions.
The main aim of the program will be to foster a discussion and collaboration between Malaysian and Bangladeshi universities. UGC is also planning to sponsor teaching staffs to Malaysian top five research universities with the aim to enhance the education sector of Bangladesh.
