Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced demonstration programme in all districts and metropolitan cities of the country on Thursday, July 17, protesting against the attacks on National Citizen Party (NCP) rally in Gopalganj.
Jamaat Secretary General Prof Mia Golam Parwar made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday, July 16.
He alleged the activists of banned Chhatra League carried out attack on NCP’s previously announced ‘March to Gopalganj’ programme in Gopalganj today and they also attacked the motorcade of NCP leaders aiming to kill them.
Golam Parwar urged Jamaat’s all-level manpower and country people to observe the demonstration to unitedly resist the fascists.
