The police arrested 21 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student front Islami Chhatra Shibir, in a special drive from different parts in Jhenaidah early Sunday.Police conducting a drive in different places of the district from Saturday night to early Sunday arrested them on sabotage charges.Among the arrestees, 4 people were from Shailkupa upazila, 9 from Kotchandpur upazila, 2 from Harinakundu upazila, 4 from Moheshpur Upazilla, 2 from Kaliganj upazila and sadar upazila.They would be sent to jail after interrogation, it is learnt.
