PRAN-RFL launches NextGen Campus Ambassador programme, empowers 40 students

In a bid to nurture young talent and bridge the gap between academia and industry, PRAN-RFL Group, one of Bangladesh’s largest business conglomerates, has selected 40 outstanding students from 22 universities across the country as NextGen Campus Ambassadors.

The official contracts were handed over by Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director of Marketing, PRAN-RFL Group, during a special ceremony held at the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Auditorium in Dhaka on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, Kamruzzaman Kamal emphasised the transformative potential of the programme: "The NextGen Campus Ambassador Programme is more than just brand representation – it’s a powerful learning platform for students. These young ambassadors will serve as the voice of PRAN-RFL in their respective universities, actively engaging in marketing initiatives, corporate events, and social awareness campaigns."

He added, "This initiative is designed to shape future leaders. It’s not just about promoting our brand – it’s about empowering youth with real-world corporate experience, leadership skills, and communication expertise. We want to create a pathway for young minds to understand, grow, and thrive in the professional world."

This year marked the inaugural edition of the NextGen Campus Ambassador Programme, which saw an overwhelming response. Over 800 students from more than 40 public and private universities applied through an online registration process.

After a rigorous three-phase selection – including application screening, interviews, and evaluation – the final 40 were chosen based on leadership potential, communication skills, and passion for innovation.

For the next 12 months, the ambassadors will lead career seminars, workshops, and promotional events on their campuses, acting as dynamic connectors between PRAN-RFL and the student community.

The programme aligns with PRAN-RFL’s broader commitment to youth development, sustainability, and corporate responsibility. The ambassadors will also contribute to initiatives in sustainability, digital engagement, and community outreach.

Ali Hassan, Senior General Manager (Marketing) of PRAN-RFL Group, Ranjan Kumar Dey, Head of Human Resources of PRAN Group, Raiyan Hossain, Head of Human Resources of RFL Group, Sumaiya Tabasmum Ahmed, Head of Sustainability, and Shaikh Hamim Ali, Assistant Brand Manager of Corporate Brand, were present at the event.

With this initiative, PRAN-RFL Group reaffirms its role not just as a market leader, but as a catalyst for youth empowerment—investing in the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and change makers.
