Yunus reaches Kuala Lumpur

Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to Bangladesh’s interim government, reached Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur on Monday evening for a three-day state visit. 

He landed at 7:50pm local time aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, according to Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser.

Malaysian Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail welcomed Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at airport. 

Smartly turned out contingents of Malaysian armed forces gave guard of honour to the chief adviser upon his arrival in Kuala Lumpur.

Yunus departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 2:00pm Bangladesh time on the same day, travelling on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight to undertake the official visit.
