Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday night on a four-day official visit.
He was received at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by Bangladesh’s Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin and Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Dhaka, Imran Haider.
According to a press release issued by the Pakistan High Commission, the visit aims to elevate bilateral trade relations to a new level and strengthen economic cooperation.
During his stay, Jam Kamal Khan will hold a formal meeting with Bangladesh’s Commerce Adviser. He will also exchange views with senior government officials and meet leaders of business organizations.
The discussions are expected to focus on expanding opportunities for bilateral trade, identifying new areas for investment, and addressing existing barriers.
