The Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced its full panel for the Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) elections.
Sajjad Hossain Ridoy and Md Shafayat Hossain were named as vice president (VP) and general secretary (GS) candidates respectively, while Ayubur Rahman Toufiq will contest for assistant general secretary (AGS) post.
JCD central general secretary Nasir Uddin made the announcement at a press conference at the University's Buddhijibi Chattar around 1:30pm on Thursday, September 18.
Nasir said they are hopeful of victory in the polls and discussing with other student organisations about making an alliance.
The balloting in the Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) and hall union elections is scheduled to be held on October 12.
