Four members of a family have suffered burn injuries after an air conditioner exploded in their house in Dhaka's Jatrabari.
The injured have been identified as Tuhin Hossain, 38, his wife Iba Aktar, 30, their two minor sons Tanvir, 9, and Tawhid, 7.
The explosion occurred in Dhalpur Bou Bazar area around 1:30am on Saturday, September 20.
Later, the injured were admitted to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital.
Iba's sister Farjana Aktar who took them to hospital said the AC exploded when her sister, brother-in-law and their two children were asleep, leaving them injured.
