The police have arrested two leaders of banned organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and one of Bangabandhu Sainik League in Dhaka's Khilgaon.
The arrestees are Arifur Rahman Akash, general secretary of word no. 9, and Tahmidul Hasan, general secretary of word no. 8 under Motijheel Thana unit BCL, and Md Anwar Hossain Babu, member of Khilgaon Thana unit Bangabandhu Sanik League, a pro organisation of outlawed Awami League.
The law enforcers apprehended Akash and Tahmidul in front of 'Mukta Biriyani' shop in the afternoon and apprehended Babu in front of Taltala market at night on Friday, September 19, Khilgaon police station's officer-in-charge (OC) Md Daud Hossain confirmed on Saturday, September 20.
