2 brothers hacked to death in Chuadanga

Two bothers were beaten and hacked to death in Chuadanga's Jibannagar on Saturday morning, September 20, over a previous enmity.

The deceased were Anwar, 55, and Hamja, 45, sons of late Khoda Baksh Mondal, a resident of Uthuli village in the upazila.

Jibannagar police station's officer-in-charge Mamun Bishwas said the two brothers had been loggerheads with neighbours over cow trading and in continuation this, they were beaten and hacked to death in a field in Uthuli village around 10:00am.

The police began a drive to detain those involved in the murder, he said.
