A five-member delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami reached the State Guest House Jamuna to hold a meeting with Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on various issues, including the upcoming national elections, and the path to implement the July National Charter.
Led by party Nayeb-e-Amir Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, the delegation reached Jamuna around 5:45pm.
Jamaat Assistant Secretary General, and media and publication chief Ehsanul Mahbub Zubayer confirmed the matter to Jago News.
The delegation also included Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar, and Assistant Secretaries General ATM Masum, Rafiqul Islam Khan and Hamidur Rahman Azad.
Earlier at about 5:00pm, a four-member delegation of National Citizen Party (NCP) sat with the Chief Adviser.
On Tuesday, October 21, a three-member BNP delegation, led by party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, held a meeting with the Chief Adviser at Jamuna.
