The government has scrapped gazette notification announcing 128 individuals as July Warriors after they were found being included in the list with false information.
The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday, October 29.
The notification said the ministry found evidences that some individuals, who had been included in the list of July Warriors, were not actually July Warriors or injured taking part in the movement, and in the name of some others, more than one gazette notifications were issued.
Based on the recommendations from the district committees, a total of 128 individuals' gazette notifications have been cancelled, according to the notification.
