The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association (BAJUS) has raised the prices of gold, with 22 carat gold up by Tk 8,900 to Tk 2,02,709 per bhori (11.664 grams).
Besides, 21-carat gold was increased by Tk 8,503 to Tk 1,93,506 a bhori, 18-carat by Tk 7,290 to Tk 1,65,862, and gold of traditional method by Tk 6,217 to Tk 1,37,845 respectively.
The prices have been hiked following an increase in the price of pure gold in the local market, BAJUS said in a statement on Wednesday, October 29.
The new prices will come into effect from Thursday, October 30.
