Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman has announced that he will resign when the time comes to contest the 13th national parliamentary elections with a nomination from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
He made the announcement on Wednesday (November 5) at a press conference held in the conference room of the Attorney General’s office, following a hearing on an appeal regarding the reinstatement of the caretaker government.
Regarding his election participation, he stated, “I have sought a nomination from the BNP. I am hopeful of receiving it. When the time comes, I will resign and contest the elections with the BNP’s nomination.”
