The National Citizen Party might ally with any of BNP or Jamaat-e-Islami on a condition that the parties will promise to implement the reforms processes in the future, said NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary.
"Now, the country is in a crisis moment. If the BNP and Jamaat reach a consensus about the reforms processes and pledge that they will implement these in the future, then, we may form an alliance with any of BNP or Jamaat," he said.
Patwary made the remarks at a press conference at the party's temporary office in Dhaka's Banglamotor area on Thursday evening, November 6.
He, however, stated that the NCP will not form alliance with any party if the primary conditions of justice and reforms are not met as per their demands.
Parwary, chief of NCP's election management committee, said the party started distributing nomination forms ahead of the next general election.
