Miscreants set fire to two buses in Dhaka’s Merul Badda and Shahjadpur areas. Both buses belong to Victor Transport, but the identities of those responsible for the arson are yet to be confirmed.
The Fire Service received reports of the incidents early Monday (November 10). Four units were deployed to the scenes and successfully brought the fires under control.
Rashed Bin Khalid, Duty Officer at the Fire Service control room, said, “At 5:40 am on Monday, we received news that two buses of Victor Transport were set on fire in Merul Badda and Shahjadpur. Two of our units were sent to the locations and managed to control the fires. However, the cause of the fires is still unknown, and there is no information about any casualties.”
