The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association (BAJUS) has raised the prices of gold again in a day, with 22 carat gold up by Tk 4,188 to Tk 2,08,471 per bhori (11.664 grams).
Besides, 21-carat gold was increased by Tk 4,001 to Tk 1,99,000 a bhori, 18-carat by Tk 3,418 to Tk 1,70,563, and gold of traditional method by Tk 2,916 to Tk 1,41,858 respectively.
The prices have been hiked following a rise in the price of pure gold in the local market, BAJUS said in a statement on Tuesday, November 11.
The new prices will come into effect from Wednesday, November 12.
Earlier on Monday, November 10, the price of 22-carat gold was hiked to Tk 2,04,283 per bhori.
