A fire broke out in a bus in Dhaka's Dholaikhal area on Wednesday evening.
The name of the bus could not be known immediately.
Being informed about the fire around 6:38pm, two units of the firefighters rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze, said Rozina Akter, control room duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
It is unclear how the bus caught fire, and no casualties were reported in the incident, she said.
The incident happened amid a surge in the incidents of torching vehicles and detonating crude bombs in different parts of the capital in the last couple of days.
