The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association (BAJUS) has raised the prices of gold again, with 22 carat gold up by Tk 5,248 to Tk 2,13,719 per bhori (11.664 grams).
Besides, 21-carat gold was increased by Tk 5,003 to Tk 2,04,003 a bhori, 18-carat by Tk 4,292 to Tk 1,74,855, and gold of traditional method by Tk 3,669 to Tk 1,45,520 respectively.
The prices have been hiked following a rise in the price of pure gold in the local market, BAJUS said in a statement on Thursday, November 13.
The new prices will come into effect from Friday, November 14.
Earlier on November 11, the price of 22-carat gold was hiked to Tk 2,08,471 per bhori.
