Four people were killed and several others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Chattogram's Sitakunda on Sunday evening, November 16.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Police sources and locals said a bus and a truck collided head-on in Bottala area around 6:00pm, leaving four individuals dead on the spot and several others injured.
The police and Fire Service personnel were rescuing the injured and sending them to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Mohammad Imran, a doctor at the emergency department of Sitakunda Upazila Health Complex, said 20 people have, so far, been brought to the facility and of them, 12 have been sent to the CMCH for better treatment.
