Gold prices in the domestic market have gone up again, with the rate for 22-carat (best quality) gold increasing by Tk 2,403 per bhori (11.664 grams).
With the latest adjustment, one bhori of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk 2,10,570.
The price hike comes in response to rising rates of acid gold (pure gold) in the local market, according to the Bangladesh Jewelers' Association (BAJUS).
The revised prices will take effect from Sunday, November 30.
The decision was finalized at a meeting of the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring held on Saturday, November 29, and later confirmed in an official notice signed by committee chairman Masudur Rahman.
