A police constable has been found hanging at a police outpost in Khulna's Rupsha.
The deceased, Ferdous Hossain, 27, was the son of Golam Mostafa from Jagannathpur village in Sadar upazila of Jashore. He worked at the Shiali police outpost in Rupsha.
Ferdous was missing from Friday evening, December 5. At one stage of searching, he was found hanging at the police outpost's bathroom, said Rupsha police station's officer-in-charge, Mohammad Mahfujur Rahman.
Later, he was taken to the Khulna Medical College Hospital, where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, the OC said, adding that the police have launched an investigation into the death.
