Two dengue patients died, while 455 patients were hositalised across the country in the last 24 hours, aaccording to a regular dengue update issued on Monday by the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Both deaths reported in the last 24 hours occurred in the Dhaka South City Corporation area.
With the latest fatalities, the total number of dengue deaths this year has risen to 398, and confirmed cases have reached 98,284.
Of the dengue case, 57 are in Barishal Division, 51 in Chattogram Division, 53 in Dhaka Division (outside city corporations), 106 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 55 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 44 in Khulna Division, 32 in Mymensingh Division, 48 in Rajshahi Division, 3 in Rangpur Division and 6 in Sylhet Division.
During the same period, 488 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals. So far this year, a total of 96,232 patients have recovered after receiving treatment.
