A BNP leader was beaten and hacked to death near his home on Saturday in Khulna.The victim was identified as Md. Abul Kalam Fakir, Vice President of BNP of Vandarpara union unit under the Dumuria upazila.Abul was died during his undergoing treatment at Khulna Medical College and Hospital. In this connection, three suspected people were detained, according to police.According to police, Abul came under attack by his rival group when he was going fishing firm at 2.30am.Abul’s relatives alleged that, he (Abul) was beaten and hacked to death over pre enmity.Md. Tazul Islam, Officer-in-charge of Dumuria Police Station, told that, three suspected people were detained over the murder incident of Abul.
