BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is heading towards the mass reception rally of the July 36 Expressway of Dhaka aboard a red-and-green bus from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday.
To mark the arrival of their leader, party leaders and activists have gathered along both sides of the road from the airport to the July 36 Expressway area. Tarique Rahman is standing at the front and on the sides of the bus, waving and greeting party leaders, activists, and members of the public.
Earlier, around 11:40 am, the flight carrying Tarique Rahman, his wife, and daughter landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. At the airport, he was welcomed with a floral garland by his mother-in-law, Syeda Iqbal Mand Banu. Following this family reunion, Tarique Rahman exchanged greetings with BNP leaders.
He then bade farewell to his family and boarded the red-and-green bus. His convoy, under tight security by the joint forces, proceeded towards the 300 Feet area.
Earlier in the morning, at 9:57 am, a flight carrying Tarique Rahman, his wife, and daughter had landed at Sylhet Osmani International Airport. After a brief stop there, he continued his journey and arrived in Dhaka.
