Special arrangements have been made for women wishing to attend the namaz-e-janaza of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
Separate arrangements for women have been put in place at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban and the Manik Mia Avenue area to allow them to participate in the funeral prayer in an orderly and secure environment, according to a post on the BNP’s official Facebook page.
The namaz-e-janaza of Khaleda Zia will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday after Zuhr prayers.
The post also requested all attendees to refrain from carrying bags for security reasons.
It further stated that the concerned authorities have taken all necessary measures to ensure overall security and discipline for everyone attending to pay their final respects to Khaleda Zia.
