Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has resigned from his post. The President accepted his resignation, according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Tuesday (December 30). The notification did not mention the reason for his resignation.
Sayedur Rahman was appointed Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on November 10 last year, with executive authority in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Currently, Nurjahan Begum is serving as the Adviser of the Ministry.
Earlier, on December 24, Khuda Baksh Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser in the Ministry of Home Affairs, also resigned.
