The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 2,216 to Tk 2,24,940 per bhori (11.664 grams).
Additionally, 21-carat gold decreased to Tk 2,14,734 per bhori, 18-carat to Tk 1,84,058, and gold of the traditional method to Tk 1,53,323, respectively.
The prices have been cut following a decrease in the prices of pure gold in the local market, BAJUS said in a statement on Sunday, January 4.
The new prices will take effect from Monday, January 5.
