Inqilab Mancha has announced demonstration processions and rallies nationwide on Friday, January 16, demanding justice for its slain spokesman Sharif Osman Bin Hadi.
The protest march and rallies will be held after Jumma prayers, the platform said in a Facebook post on Thursday evening, January 15.
Sharif Osman bin Hadi, a prominent figure of the July Mass Uprising last year, was shot in the head on December 12 while travelling on a rickshaw on Culvert Road in the capital's Bijoynagar area after Jumma prayers.
He initially underwent surgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and was later admitted to Evercare Hospital.
For advanced treatment, he was airlifted to Singapore, where he succumbed to his injuries on the night of December 18.
