Boy dies after falling ill at BNP's Ctg rally

A 14-year-old boy died after falling ill during BNP's rally in Chattogram city on Sunday afternoon, January 25.

The deceased was identified as Saidul Islam Chisty, son of Nazrul Islam Babu, a BNP activist and resident of Enayet Bazar area in the city.

Chisty suddenly fell sick in front of the Hall 24 Convention Center while filming a procession heading towards the rally at Polo Ground, Sona Manik, convener of Kotwali Thana unit Swechchhasebak Dal, told Jago News.

He was rushed to the National Hospital in the city, where he passed away, Manik added.

Two more people fell ill amid crowds at the rally, and they were admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
