A mild earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was felt in parts of Bangladesh early Tuesday (February 3). The epicentre was located in Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira district, and the quake occurred at a depth of 150 kilometres.
According to India’s National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake struck at 4:36 am.
Mild tremors were felt in Satkhira, Khulna, Jashore, and surrounding areas. No immediate reports of casualties or damage were available.
